Bailey's School of Motoring is a small independent driving school, based in the north of the City near the Middlewood Test Centre.

You will learn in a modern car, that is fitted with professional dual controls and has air conditioning for your comfort.

Away from the practical lesson, home study is encouraged to speed up the process of learning, and ultimately the amount of practical lessons that are needed should be reduced. This is done in the form of free handouts and where possible the lending of books and CD-roms. As each stage is achieved you will build up a record of your progress. I strongly recommend the purchase of certain DSA publications (the professional body who set the standards for the test). I can offer these at a discounted price.

Many discounts are available, especially for those of you who are in a position to take semi-intensive courses. I believe that this greatly aids learning, possibly taking between 4 and 10 hours a week. People seem to grasp the subject quicker, and in the long run generally learn faster. Other discounts come in the form of block bookings, and lessons that last over 1½ hours receive 10% off. Gift vouchers are also available.

As a Member of the Driving Instructors Association I take my working role very seriously. I have a keen interest in road safety, and as an Advanced Driver you can be assured I will endeavour to pass on essential skills and aid pupils in any which way I can to help them achieve their driving ambition.
